My name is Janos Antalicz, I come from a traditional stonecarver family an I got my stonecarver qualification in 1992. Since then, I have been working in this profession in Hungary and abroad as well. During these years, I also got a lot of knowledge and experience in other building industries and ornamental arts, too: stone sculpture, building sculpture, cast stone, tiling,etc... You can see a lot of my works on my homepage.

I passed the examination for master craftsman's certificate in 2006.

My aim is, first of all, to help that this traditional and beautiful profession should not disappear and be forgotten, but shall take its deserved place in the 21st century's culture. Secondly, to always be able to provide unique and professional, but at the same time financially competitive service.

I do:

• production of new tombstones, professional renovation and restoration of old ones;
• stonecarving works of buildings: fences, supporting walls (baseboard, floor, wall covering), windowsills, counters, tabletops, etc... made of marble, granite, limestone, cast stone;
• sculptures, statues, monuments and their footings, stone furniture, stone windows, gargoyles, fountains; modelling and carving of sculptures, statues, reliefs, or carving after models;
• restoration and renovation of sculptures and statues;
• realization of sculpturers' ideas in stone;
• all kinds of stone or cast stone works on the spot or in my workshop.
